YSRCP’s Strategic Stance and Parliamentary Influence

YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy emphasized the party’s significant parliamentary presence, with 15 MPs, and its strategy of extending issue-based support to the BJP-led NDA government when in the national and state interest. In a meeting with YSRCP MPs, he highlighted the party’s equal strength compared to the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), which has 16 MPs.

Jagan Mohan Reddy underscored the importance of adhering to YSRCP principles and enhancing the party’s image through their parliamentary actions. Despite a 10% vote decline in the recent election, he expressed confidence in regaining public trust and achieving future electoral success by demonstrating the superiority of YSRCP governance over TDP rule.
