Telangana CM Advocates for Government School Education
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy highlighted the success stories of prominent leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Nara Chandrababu Naidu, who emerged from government school backgrounds, emphasizing the pivotal role of government education. Addressing students from government schools, Reddy encouraged them to strive for success in their chosen fields, citing the significant representation of IAS and IPS officers from government school backgrounds.
He announced plans to establish Education and Agriculture Commissions to address ongoing challenges in these sectors, mirroring the Women’s Commission model. Reddy expressed concerns about the impact of the residential education system on parent-child relationships, advocating for a semi-residential schooling model to enhance parental involvement and strengthen familial bonds. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to improving school infrastructure and ensuring educational accessibility in every village and tanda, underscoring education as an investment in societal development.
