India Sends Second Batch of Relief Materials to Flood-Hit Kenya
India dispatched a second batch of relief materials containing 40 tonnes of medicines and supplies to assist the flood-affected people of Kenya. The Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) consignments were sent to Kenya via a military transport aircraft.
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar confirmed the shipment, emphasizing India’s commitment to its partnership with Kenya. The first batch of relief materials was delivered to Kenya last week. Kenya has been grappling with devastating floods, with at least 267 people reported dead due to the floods, according to government statistics.
