Prime Accused in A.P. CM Stone Pelting Case Moves Bail Plea
Vemula Satish, the prime accused in the case of the attack on Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy with a stone, has filed a bail petition in the Vijayawada metropolitan sessions court. Satish, who has been in judicial remand since his arrest on April 17, claims he was falsely implicated in the case. He argued that the injury sustained by Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy was not caused by a stone but occurred during the laying of a garland around his neck.
Satish also stated that he was neither affiliated with any political party nor had any enmity with the Chief Minister or the complainant, Velampalli Srinivasa Rao, YSR Congress Party’s sitting MLA from Vijayawada West constituency.
