Grand Celebrations Honor Dr. Ambedkar’s Legacy in Kalaburagi
Kalaburagi witnessed vibrant festivities on Sunday as the city commemorated the 133rd birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution. Led by Banthe Sanganand of Buddha Vihar, dignitaries including MP Umesh Jadhav and Minister Priyank Kharge paid homage at the statue of Dr. Ambedkar.
The city adorned with colorful lights at main junctions like Jagat Circle, Hirapur Cross, and Siddhartha Nagar, creating a festive ambiance. Processions and rallies added to the celebratory spirit, culminating at the main venue near Ambedkar Statue. Additionally, various organizations conducted blood donation and health camps while voluntary groups distributed essential supplies, reflecting Dr. Ambedkar’s ethos of social welfare and empowerment.
