Two More Arrested in Panoor Bomb Blast Case

In a significant development, Kerala Police have apprehended two more individuals, including the alleged mastermind behind the Panoor bomb blast in Kannur district. Meethale Kunnothuparam Thankesapura Shajil (27), identified as the secretary of the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) Kunnothuparamba unit, and his associate Akshay (27) were captured near the Palakkad border after evading authorities.

Their arrest follows a three-day search operation, during which they were found hiding in Udumalpet, Tamil Nadu. This brings the total number of individuals arrested in connection with the blast to eight, as authorities continue their investigation into the motive and circumstances surrounding the incident.
