United Airlines Plane Successfully Lands After Tire Loss

A United Airlines jetliner bound for Japan managed to make a safe emergency landing at Los Angeles International Airport after losing a tire during takeoff from San Francisco. Despite the tire falling off and causing damage to a car parked at San Francisco International Airport, no injuries were reported. The Boeing 777, carrying 235 passengers and a crew of 14, landed smoothly at Los Angeles International Airport without incident.

Aviation experts noted that while rare, incidents like these are generally attributed to maintenance issues rather than manufacturer defects. The Federal Aviation Administration will investigate the incident to ensure safety standards are followed.
