Kedarnath Dham Set to Welcome Devotees on May 10

Amidst the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri, the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee has announced the reopening of the revered Kedarnath Dham for pilgrims on May 10 at 7 am. The journey will commence with the departure of the Panchmukhi Doli on May 6, culminating in the sacred destination of Kedarnath Dham on the evening of May 9.

This significant decision was made during a religious ceremony presided over by the Temple Committee President Ajendra Ajay at the Pachkadar Gaddi Sthal Shri Omkareshwar Temple in Uttarakhand’s Ukhimath. After a hiatus during the winter season, marked by heavy snowfall and closed routes, the temple will reopen to devotees, continuing the revered tradition of spiritual pilgrimage to one of Lord Shiva’s holiest abodes.
