Resumption of Chennai Metro Rail Work Brings Relief to Commuters

After months of disruption, Chennai Metro Rail (CMRL) work along the Sholinganallur to SIPCOT stretch is set to resume soon, alleviating concerns of commuters facing severe traffic congestion. CMRL officials attribute the disruption to subcontractor failures, leading to contract termination and the identification of new firms to undertake the construction work.
