Massive Fire in Electronics Scrap Warehouse near Ambattur

A major fire broke out in a warehouse in Pattaravakkam containing electronics and household appliances, resulting in thick smoke engulfing the locality on Thursday night.

The Fire and Rescue Services department received an emergency call reporting the fire in the warehouse, which stored scraps of electronics and household items. Over five fire tenders from various locations, including Villivakkam, J.J. Nagar, Red Hills, Kolathur, and Ambattur, were deployed to bring the fire under control. The Ambattur Fire Station led the efforts to extinguish the blaze, with multiple units collaborating to contain the incident.
