Incomplete U-Turn in T. Nagar Junction Causes Traffic Hassle

In T. Nagar, a major junction’s traffic flow is hindered by an incomplete U-turn that was created last November. The junction, involving G.N. Chetty Road, Dr. Nair Road, and Thirumalai Pillai Road, had two U-turns carved out of the Greater Chennai Corporation-run parking space under the flyover. While one U-turn is actively used, the other, designed for traffic towards Vani Mahal and Pothys, remains unfinished.

The low restraining wall has been removed, but loose ends, including a cable, are yet to be addressed. Some rubble has been scattered to prevent motorists from using the incomplete U-turn, and if the Greater Chennai Corporation completes the necessary work, traffic movement in the area could be further improved.
