Jagdeep Dhankhar Emphasizes Resolution of Differences Among Three Organs of State

Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar underscored the inevitability of issues among the Executive, the Judiciary, and the Legislature but emphasized the need to resolve them in a structured manner. Speaking at the launch of the ‘Hamara Samvidhan Hamara Samman’ campaign, he expressed concern about disruptions and disturbances in the Legislature, calling for more debate and dialogue.

Dhankhar criticized the imposition of Emergency in India’s constitutional history, describing it as the “darkest, shameful” period. He highlighted the importance of constitutional authorities vindicating the trust imposed on them by the Constitution. Dhankhar also urged legal luminaries to actively participate in legislative debates for meaningful contributions.
