Software Professionals Arrested for Running Prostitution Racket Using Exclusive App

In Karnataka, two software professionals have been arrested for operating a prostitution racket involving foreign nationals. The main accused, Govindaraju, developed an exclusive app for the illicit activity. Facing financial troubles due to losses in the stock market, Govindaraju resorted to running a prostitution racket to repay loans.

The police arrested eight other individuals connected to the case and rescued seven foreign national women. The accused had developed contacts with a Turkish woman in Bengaluru who was involved in the illegal trade. Authorities have successfully busted the racket, and legal action is underway.
