Tragic Mishap: Man Falls to Death from Apartment Terrace in Saidapet

In a tragic incident, a 33-year-old man, identified as Jithender Kumar Mondi, fell to his death from the terrace of an apartment complex in Saidapet. Hailing from Odisha, Mondi worked at a tyre shop on Reddy Kuppam Street in West Saidapet and resided in the same apartment complex. The incident occurred on Monday when Mondi, having consumed alcohol, was found asleep on the terrace.

He was later discovered with head injuries near the compound wall, leading the police to conclude that he had accidentally fallen while under the influence of alcohol. The Kumaran Nagar police recovered the body, which was then sent to the Government Royapettah Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
