Fatal Hit-and-Run on GST Road Claims Motorist’s Life

In a tragic incident on GST Road in Chennai, a hit-and-run accident resulted in the death of a motorist and left a pillion rider injured on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. The victim, M. Prakash, a resident of Silavattam village, was riding his two-wheeler with his friend A. Vikram when a speeding vehicle hit them from behind and fled the scene.

Prakash suffered fatal head and body injuries, succumbing to them on the spot, while the pillion rider sustained minor injuries. The Maduranthakam police responded to the incident, sending Prakash’s body for a post-mortem examination at the Maduranthakam government hospital. A case has been registered, and authorities are actively searching for the vehicle responsible for the tragic hit-and-run.
