Delhi Police Arrests Man for Cyber Harassment and Obscene Messaging

The Delhi Police apprehended a 28-year-old man, identified as Rohit Kumar from Pandav Nagar, for sending obscene messages to random girls. The arrest came after a complaint from a woman in Karkardooma who reported receiving inappropriate messages on WhatsApp during odd hours. The accused, upon receiving responses, would then pressure the victims to engage in explicit acts over the phone.

Through an analysis of Call Detail Records (CDR), the police traced the accused to India during the time of the crimes, and he was subsequently arrested. Further investigations revealed that Rohit had a pattern of sending obscene messages to random girls and pressuring them for explicit acts. The accused’s passport has also been seized.
