Controversial Remark by Karnataka Congress MLA on PM Modi’s Responsibility for Soldier Deaths
Karnataka Congress MLA H.C. Balakrishna has stirred controversy by alleging that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is responsible for the deaths of innocent soldiers. The remark was made during a Jan Sampark program in Tubinakere village, Magadi taluk of Ramanagara, and quickly went viral on social media. Balakrishna accused the PM Modi government of orchestrating conflicts and targeting powerful individuals, likening the BJP to the British.
He asserted that if not for the Pulwama attack, people would have ousted PM Modi in the last election. Balakrishna also criticized former Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy, accusing him of aligning with the BJP and transforming the JD(S) into a communal party.
The MLA predicted the demise of JD(S) in Karnataka if it failed to realize and rectify its current trajectory. Balakrishna, once a strong follower of the Deve Gowda family, joined Congress in 2018, dealing a significant blow to the JD(S).
