Youth Arrested for Reckless Bike Stunts on National Highway in Chengalpattu

A 21-year-old youth, identified as V. Gokul of Pulipakkam village near Chengalpattu, was apprehended by Chengalpattu taluk police for performing dangerous bike stunts on a national highway. The arrest followed the circulation of a video depicting Gokul’s stunts on social media. Employed at a private company near Paranur, Gokul’s actions prompted the police to register a case and launch an investigation.

He was located and apprehended near Singaperumal Koil. Further scrutiny revealed that Gokul did not possess a valid driving license. Consequently, he has been charged under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Motor Vehicles Act. Gokul has been remanded in judicial custody following the arrest.
