Six Youths Arrested for Assault After Hotel Party Quarrel in Nungambakkam

The Nungambakkam police have taken six individuals into custody for their involvement in an alleged assault on three others following a dispute that transpired during a party held at a prominent hotel. On October 30, Karthik Kumar, 22, and his friends attended the event, where an altercation arose when Gugan and his associates reportedly harassed Karthik’s female friends while they were dancing.

The hotel staff intervened, ejecting the troublemakers from the premises. However, tensions flared once again when Karthik and his group exited the hotel, encountering Gugan and his friends, resulting in a confrontation that escalated into a physical assault involving a knife. In response to Mr. Karthik’s complaint, the police promptly apprehended Gugan and the five others involved in the incident.
