Income Tax Raid Reveals Undisclosed Assets Worth Rs 70 Crore in Udaipur
An Income Tax Department raid on properties associated with real estate businessmen and their associates in Udaipur, Rajasthan, has uncovered undisclosed assets valued at Rs 70 crore. Department officials have reportedly seized substantial property-related documents during the operation, which spanned over four days and involved around 40 teams and over 100 police personnel.
Searches were conducted at more than 40 locations linked to builders and businessmen, including their associates. During the raid, authorities opened 17 bank lockers, revealing benami property assets consisting of six kilograms of gold, 90 kilograms of silver, and Rs 2.5 crore in cash.
