Virat Kohli Becomes Fastest to Reach 13,000 ODI Runs, Breaking Sachin Tendulkar’s Record

Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli has set a new record by becoming the fastest player to reach 13,000 runs in One Day Internationals (ODIs). He achieved this milestone during a match against Pakistan in the Asia Cup Super 4. Kohli surpassed the previous record held by Sachin Tendulkar, taking just 267 innings compared to Tendulkar’s 321.

Kohli is the fifth player in men’s ODIs to achieve this feat, joining the ranks of Tendulkar, Ricky Ponting, Sanath Jayasuriya, and Mahela Jayawardene. Notably, Kohli is the only player among these to maintain an average of over 50 in ODIs, and he has scored 47 centuries in the format.
