Robert Vadra Responds to Smriti Irani’s Allegations, Challenges Her for Proof
Robert Vadra, the husband of Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, criticized Union Minister Smriti Irani for repeatedly mentioning his name in Parliament and challenged her to provide proof of her allegations against him.
In a Facebook post, Vadra urged Irani to stop being obsessed with him and misusing his name for political purposes. He further questioned Irani about her own controversies, such as her restaurants in Goa and alleged discrepancies in her educational qualifications.
Vadra’s response came after Irani showed a photograph of him with businessman Gautam Adani during her speech on a no-confidence motion in the Lok Sabha. The BJP has frequently used Vadra to target the Congress and the Gandhi family.
