Pakistan Urges India to Create Favorable Atmosphere for Dialogue Amidst Tensions
In response to India’s Ministry of External Affairs blaming Pakistan for not fostering a terror-free environment for talks, Pakistan’s Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch has shifted the responsibility to India, urging New Delhi to establish a conducive atmosphere for dialogue and peace.
Baloch emphasized the importance of dialogue between the two countries in an environment devoid of coercion and belligerence, particularly highlighting India’s regional actions.
The statement came after Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s speech, where he expressed willingness to engage in serious talks if India demonstrated a genuine intention, reiterating Pakistan’s commitment to peaceful coexistence and dialogue under the principles of international law. Baloch further noted that the decision to create a peaceful environment lies with India.
