Infiltration Bid Foiled on LoC, Two Terrorists Killed in Jammu and Kashmir

The Indian Army and local police successfully foiled an infiltration bid on the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district, Jammu and Kashmir. During a joint operation on August 6-7, two infiltrating terrorists were engaged by the security forces.

One terrorist was neutralized immediately, while the second attempted to retreat toward the LoC but was hit and fell near the border. The operation is still ongoing as security forces remain vigilant. The swift response by the joint teams averted a potential security threat in the region.
