Indian-British 7-year-old girl won PM’s Light award
Moksha Roy, a seven-year-old Indian-origin schoolgirl, has been honored with the British Prime Minister’s Points of Light award for her remarkable efforts in volunteering for a United Nations’ sustainability initiative against microplastic pollution since the age of three. The award was presented to her by Deputy British Prime Minister Oliver Dowden.
Moksha holds the title of the world’s youngest sustainability advocate. Her contributions include participating in various sustainability campaigns and fundraising initiatives to support children in need. Her dedication and commitment to making a positive impact on the environment and society have earned her this prestigious recognition.
