J&K Police along with the army recovered 2 IEDs in North Kashmir’s Handwara

Two Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) were recovered by the police in the Wodhpura area of Handwara in North Kashmir. In a joint operation with the Indian Army, Handwara Police discovered the IEDs on the Wodhpura Ridge near NH 701 in the early morning of July 17, 2023.

The operation was conducted based on reliable information from a source. The Indian Army and Handwara Police launched a well-coordinated Search and Destruction Operation (SADO) in the Wodhpura Forest during the early hours of the day.

The recovery of the IEDs highlights the ongoing efforts to maintain security and combat threats in the region. Further investigations are underway to determine the intended use and origin of the IEDs.
