European Commission supports the farmers by giving relief packages

The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has reported that it has received only 20 percent of the required funds, amounting to $54.8 billion, to support humanitarian efforts worldwide this year.

The significant shortfall in funding poses challenges in addressing the urgent needs of vulnerable populations affected by various crises, including conflicts, natural disasters, and pandemics. Insufficient funding limits the UN’s ability to provide essential services, such as food assistance, healthcare, shelter, and education, to those in need.

The shortfall underscores the pressing need for increased financial support from governments, organizations, and individuals to meet the growing humanitarian demands.
