Hair Stylist gets ISO certification
 G Ramesh, Proprietor of
Ramesh Gents Hair Stylist needs no introduction to Chennaites. He has carved
a niche for himself in hair styling and personal grooming for men. He
started his career at Ambuli Salon 25 years back and moved on to work at Taj
Coromandel. Honing his skills, he established his own salon in 1987. From
humble beginnings to a state-of-the art salon on Nungambakkam High Road,
which employs over 50 persons, is a dream come true for a self-made man.
Ramesh
Gents Hair Stylist has now achieved a rare distinction. He is Asia’s first
hair stylist to achieve ISO 9001 – 2000 certification issued by the
International Certification Services (Asia) P Ltd, accredited by Australia
and New Zealand – Joint accreditation system. There are only two others in
the world who have achieved the same distinction in the field of hair
styling.
Ramesh wanted to achieve
this unique distinction in Asia as he has an insatiable appetite for
perfection and high standards, which he practices very zealously in his
profession. He provides personalized service to his esteemed clients – a
veritable who’s-who in the field of filmdom, politics, industrialists and
businessmen.
Ramesh is under continuous
pressure from his clients which include expats to set up his salons in
Malaysia, Singapore, the US, UK and Dubai. He has plans to franchise new
units in these locations and provide personalized service to his prestigious
clients by imparting training and transferring skill sets to achieve
customer satisfaction.
It provides expert services
in hair care, facials, skin treatment, pedicure, manicure and exclusive
bride groom package all of which enjoy tremendous patronage with the
clients. They have the state-of-the-art infrastructure and are equipped with
the latest international brands from Germany and US. Cosmetics are imported
from leading brands in Belgium and Switzerland. Experts from reputed
cosmetic companies like Oriflame and Wella periodically train their

grooming kits. Even shaving kits from Clariol, imported from Japan, are also
disposable.
