Popular Tamil Actor Marimuthu Passes Away After Heart Attack

Tamil actor G. Marimuthu, aged 56, tragically passed away on September 8th after suffering a heart attack while dubbing for a television serial in a studio. Marimuthu gained significant popularity with his role as ‘Aadhi Gunasekaran’ in the television serial ‘Ethir Neechal,’ which was broadcast on Sun TV. Originally from Pasumalai, Theni district, Marimuthu initially left home to pursue a career in film direction in Chennai.

He was an assistant to renowned poet Vairamuthu and also worked alongside directors such as Vasanth, Manirathinam, S.J. Suryah, and Seeman. Marimuthu directed two films, ‘Kannum Kannum’ and ‘Pulival,’ and was known for his versatile talent, having acted in over 50 films, including ‘Jailer’ starring Rajinikanth and ‘Pariyerum Perumal.’ In addition to his acting, he was also a skilled writer.
