Murugadoss: Thuppakki mirrors Rajini movies from the 80s and 90s

The countdown for the release of Thuppakki draws to a close. Muragadoss believes that the moviegoers will have a blast this Deepavali watching the film. Murugadoss states that the movie is modelled upon Rajini movies of the 80s and 90s which had all the right elements to make a blockbuster.

Slated for deepavali release, the screen will be hitting 1500 screens. Harris Jayraj’s foot tapping numbers from the movie are already hitting top of the charts.

The director also praised Vijay and Kajal Agarwal’s performance in the movie. He singled out Vijay and stated that his comic sense in the lighter scenes are amazing.
