The burly Dhina, who debuted as music director with Prabhu-Ramya Krishnan starrer ‘Middle Class Madhavan’ a few years back, has raced ahead and has completed scoring music for 50 films. As if staying in the cut-throat industry for so long and scoring music for 50 films is not enough, Dhina is turning actor for a new film. The soft-spoken Dhina would, in fact, be seen playing a villain in an upcoming film titled ‘Soozhnilai’. Dhina hit big time with the foot-tapping numbers of ‘Thiruda Thirudi’ many years back and has many times in the past refused offers to act in films. Debutant director Sendhooran, however, managed to convince Dhina to play the villain in the film in a role which won’t disturb Dhina’s trademark long hair. Sendhooran casually met Dhina to narrate the story to enable him to prepare the songs and the background score. Even as he was narrating the story, Sendhooran stuck the idea of casting Dhina himself in the role of the villain in the script. After some cajoling, Dhina gave in and now he’d be appearing on-screen soon in a new ‘avatar’!
