Even before completing 'Aayirathil Oruvan', Selvaa has reportedly moved ahead to his next film starring 'Chiyaan' Vikram in the lead. Producer Ravindaran, on his part, had gone ahead and finished all the technical work and has even managed to produce the much-awaited 'first copy'. Sources say that so much of money has been spent for graphics-sequences in the film.
In a particular sequence in the film, Selvaraghavan wanted hero Karthi to rum amid 100,000 snakes (wow!). Fortunately for Karthi, Selvaa had decided to do in using computer graphics. When graphics experts sat together to conjure up the sequence on-screen, they found Karthi's expressions missing in the portion that had already been shot. When Karthi runs among snakes, his feet would naturally stumble on a couple of snakes and he should wince or express surprise.

None of them was missing in the video-sequence and therefore, Selvaa had to re-shoot the sequence with Karthi's expressions intact. Only after these sequences were re-shot did Ad-Labs, in charge of graphics-sequences in the film, agree to bring on-screen the desired video sequence of Karthi running amid innumerable number of snakes with a bewildered expression on his face.
Last heard, this particular sequence itself is said to have cost its producer a whopping Rs.4 crores! Can't help wondering why the same sequence couldn't have been shot with actual snakes which could have cost very little!
