It was earlier reported that the film titled '24', to be directed by Vikram Kumar (of 'Yaavarum Nalam' fame) and starring 'Chiyaan' Vikram in the lead, is as good as abandoned. This has happened after producer Mohan Natarajan had reportedly paid 'huge' advances to music director Harris Jeyaraj and cinematographer P.C. Sreeram. Now that Vikram has started shooting for Selvaraghavan's film, Mohan is said to be contemplating lodging a complaint against the actor with the Producers' Council.

For the time being, though, Mohan is not interested in getting back the advance amount from Vikram immediately. Instead, he has launched a search to locate a hero to match Vikram's stature in the industry for his film. Mohan, who had earlier made the Ajit-starrer 'Aazhwar' which didn't do well at the box-office, was said to have been promised by Ajit that he would another film so as to compensate for the losses suffered in 'Aazhvar'.
Mohan plans to make use of the promise given by Ajit at this time. Ajit, who is about to complete his 49th film in 'Asal', is likely to star in Mohan Natarajan's new film which would be his landmark 50th film and would have the names of Harris Jeyaraj, Vikram Kumar and Sreeram associating with him.
Mohan might heave a sigh of relief soon!
