It is known that Thala Ajith is gearing up to start his 54th film with director Siva and now the Siruthai director has confirmed the lady lead for the film to be played by Tamanna.

Earlier Anushka has been roped in to pair up with Ajith in this Vijaya Productions film, while Ajith has launched the centenary celebrations of producer Sri Nagi Reddy. But now Anushka seems to be running short of dates due to her commitments and Tamanna has stepped into her shoes.

“Though Tamanna has listened to the script and gave her nod, the actress is yet to sign the dotted line,” says Tamanna’s father. While Siruthai Siva has confirmed about Ajith’s female love to be played by Tamanna and also said that makers will soon make an official announcement about the complete cast and crew of Ajith’s 54th film.
