Tamanna, who has been climbing up the popularity charts by each passing day, was recently approached to star in a new film opposite the now out-of-favour Srikanth. Tammu, as she is fondly called, didn't want to pair up opposite Srikanth after starring with successful heroes like Suriya, Dhanush and Karthi. Tamana didn't want to commit herself to the film opposite Srikanth but chased away the Producers by quoting an exorbitant sum as a fee.

Tamanna's fee sent the director in a tizzy and the poor film-maker took time to realize that this was Tammu's indirect way of saying 'no' to a film offer!

Meanwhile, Tamanna has said in a recent interview that she had been waiting patiently for four years after making her debut in Tamil to get a break. The name change according the numerology has made some wonders, claims the Sindhi girl.
