Actor
Vinay was very upset with himself for not being able to be in Chennai on
the eve of his latest release, the Saran-directed "Modhi Vilaiyadu".
Vinay had to be in Malaysia to participate in a show, arranged by none
other than Saran himself. He claims that he got calls from his friends
in Chennai who raved about his performance in the film, said to be
Vinay's first tryst with 'action'.
"I had never been to cinema halls to watch my films with the
audiences. This time, though, I would like to visit cinema halls in all
cities and towns where my films are screened," says Vinay with his
infectious smile. By the time readers get to read this news item, Vinay
would have embarked on his visit-the-theatre mission to cinema halls.

"I got
panicky when
Saran Sir told
me that I would
have to dub in
my own voice. He
was very
cooperative and
patiently taught
me the nuances
of dubbing the
way a child is
taught. That was
the reason I
could do a
fairly decent
job with the
dubbing. In my
successive
films, I would
sure improve my
dialect and
diction," adds
Vinay.
