Nakul is on a high as he has just delivered his second successful film 'Maasilamani' as a solo hero. Nakul's 'Kadhalil Vizxhundhaen', which released last year, ran to packed houses all over Tamil Nadu. With back-to-back hits under his belt, Nakul is now concentrating more sincerely on his career

"I am presently working for 'Kandhakottai' opposite Poorna. After this film, I have committed to do a film for Sun Pictures. I'd forever remain grateful to Sun Pictures for their support in the form of unimaginable publicity given to both my films," says Nakul. When asked about whether he was favouring Sunaina as the heroine in all his films, Nakul got into overdrive in defending him.

"She is just a good friend to me; there's nothing more to it. I'm ready to act with whichever heroine who is cast opposite me. As a matter of fact, I don't involve myself in deciding as to who should pair up opposite me in my films. I want to act in various get-ups but am waiting for the right script to come my way. I'd also love to play brother to my sister and actress Devayani in a film. It'd be very enjoyable indeed," replied Nakul.
