Ameer's 'Yogi' might see the light soon

Ameer'Yogi', director Ameer's debut venture as an actor, would hit the halls in the month of June, says the sources close to the film unit. Ameer is paired up opposite the beautiful Madhumita in the film, which has been in the making for more than one year.

Director Subramaniam Siva, who gave super hit fil 'Thiruda Thirudi', starring Dhanush, is directing Ameer for 'Yogi'. Since the movie's story revolves around slum areas, the shooting of the film has taken place in the slum areas in and around Egmore, Chennai Central railway station, Saidapet and Teynampet in Chennai.

The shooting is almost over but for the climax sequences which might require a 5-day shoot. The re-recording and post-production work has already started and the film would hit the silver screens in June.
