Censor board upsets Guinness Record plans

The efforts to enter the Guinness Book of World Records by Suresh Joachim, has met with a serious setback, as the censor board had refused to clear it due to it's objectionable content in the controversial Srilankan ethnic conflict.

Suresh Joachim was planning to produce and release his film Sivappu Mazhai in the least number of days and he did everything according to his plans. The censors have refused to give it a certificate on the grounds of some "objectionable scenes" on the Sri Lankan Tamil issue.

The censor board has referred the film to the revising committee. Sivappu Mazhai has Suresh Joachim, Meera Jasmine and Vivek. V Krishnamoorthy is the director, while Deva is the music director.

The film was made in 12 days and was to be screened at the Sathyam Cinamas 6.30 pm on June 3. But the objection made by the censor board has put off the plans.
