Director
Murthy’s ‘Vedigundu
Murugesan’
starring
Pasupathy,
Vadivelu and
Jyotirmayee
is all set
for release.
This will be
Murthy’s
second
assignment
after the
moderately
successful
Karan-starrer
‘Karuppasamy
Kuthagaidharar’.
Talking
about ‘Vedigundu…’
Murthy says
that the
film would
be a fun
film and
would be
liked by one
and all. The
director
said that he
has made his
film in the
mould of
films liked
by him in
his early
days as a
student. He
recalled
that he was
amazed and
stunned by
the
audience’s
response to
films like ‘Karagattakkaran’
and ‘Chinnathambi’
in the late
eighties and
had decided
at that time
itself that
he would
grow up to
make one
such film to
reach out to
all sections
of the
audience. ‘Vedigundu..’
would be one
such film
and the
screenplay
has been
written
keeping the
entertaining
part in
mind, says
Murthy.
