The much speculated political entry of Vijay will not take place on his birthday (June 22) as expected. His fans have been eagerly waiting to see the launch his political outfit. It is said that the proposed political outfit might just be renamed as a 'political movement', keeping his overall situation post elections in mind.

The date of June 22 was fixed for launch of the outfit at a meeting of the star's fans held in Chennai a few weeks ago. It is now said that the decision to launch the political outfit/movement has conveniently been postponed by six months.

Though the official reason given is that the launch would be made after delivering a super hit film, the actual reason appears to be something else. The fans aren't amused when it was announced at the above meeting that Vijay's father and director S.A. Chandrasekaran would be heading the movement. The fans obviously expect Vijay to be in-charge of the movement and are ready to wait till he does so instead of making his father heading the movement.
