Yuva, a leading male model from Chennai, plays the role of the second hero to perfection in Saran's recent release 'Modhi Vilaiyadu'. Yuva has done commercials for popular brands such as Parle biscuits, Aircel and Sprite. His passion for cinema forced him to sacrifice and resign the post of Manager at Standard Chartered Bank that he held and plunge into tinsel town. The 'Modhi Vilaiyadu' offer came his way only after slugging it out for many years in the industry.

One would usually think that a model would find the going easy in the industry It was, to some extent. "Though I got some offers, I thought I should be introduced by a director with some reputation. I got to meet Saran through my friend Jayaram, who works as a production manager and that's how it happened," says Yuva, who has the dubious distinction of getting into rumours even before his entry into Kollywood.

Sometime back, rumours emanated that actress Lakshmirai was in love with a male model and was putting up at the latter's place. It was Yuva who was the male model in question. "Lakshmirai and I are very good friends. In fact, she happens to be my first friend in Chennai. I have many beautiful friends like Lakshmirai in the industry but the friendship does have a Lakshman Rekha surrounding it," says Yuva.
