There is a hot competition in Kollywood to secure the remake rights of a Bollywood hit film 'Wednesday' that released early this year. If rumours are to be believed, Prakashraj and Kamal Haasan too are in the race to secure the rights. As the title aptly conveys, the story is about the incidents that unfold on a particular Wednesday from morning to night.

As such, many producers feel that the budget of the film would be very much within manageable limits. The craze for the film has increased multifold particularly in the backdrop of the recent terrorist attack in Mumbai that claimed more than 300 lives. Both Prakashraj and Kamal Haasan are said to be trying their best to make the film.
Should 'Ulaganayagan' get to do this film that could only mean that his 'Thalaivan Irukkinran' would have to be postponed for the time being.
