Ramalat,
whose love
affair with
choreoghrapher-actor-director
Prabhudeva
culminated
into
marriage
more than a
decade ago,
is at pains
to bring to
the notice
of all
concerned
that her
husband is
still very
much in love
with him and
that there's
no way he
would ditch
her for
anyone else
(even if it
is to be a
certain
Nayantara).
In her
recent
interview to
popular
vernacular
weekly
Kumudam,
Ramalat had
said that
her heart is
pained every
time she
comes across
something
negatively
written in
the press
about her
husband.
Ramalat has,
in fact,
sent a
notice
through her
advocate to
a Tamil
weekly which
had written
about the
'alleged
affair
between
Prabhudeva
and
Nayantara',
informing
them that
she would
soon be
filing a
defamation
suit
requesting
for damages
to the tune
of Rs.2
crores.
Rattled
and taken
off-guard by
Ramalat's
notice sent
through her
advocate,
the magazine
has
reportedly
sent feelers
to Ramalat
to come down
to an
'out-of-Court
settlement'
of the
issue. Watch
out for more
action in
these
columns in
the days to
come!
