Rumours emanating from Kollywood suggest that there’s something more to it than that meets the eye between ‘Kadhal’ Sandhya and Shantanu, who debuted as hero in Kollywood with last year’s ‘Sakkarakatti’. The couple, said to be madly in love with each other, reportedly developed some differences between them and had patched up among themselves only last week at the intervention of friends and well-wishers from both the sides.

Sandhya, who used to be a regular in almost all film-based functions, is said to be cooling her heels at her residence nowadays. Despite not shooting incessantly, she refuses invitations to attend film-based functions. Sandhya’s decision is reportedly inspired by Shantanu’s advice not to be present in all function as it would harm her image and send a message across that she wasn’t shooting and had no film on hand either.

Meanwhile, commenting on her relationship with Shantanu, Sandhya said that “It’s nothing but friendship that exists between us. We’re not in love with each other and as such, we don’t bother about the rumours that are floating around us linking us together!”

 Meanwhile, Shantanu’s father and director K. Bhagyaraj, who married actresses Poornima after falling with her, has reportedly advised his son strongly about ‘getting’ into the ‘clutches of love’.
