The
audio of the
film 'Eeram',
produced by
director
Shankar's
'S'
Pictures,
was released
at Sathyam
Cinemas.
Superstar
Rajnikanth
released the
pack
containing
the
audio-cassettes
and CDs of
the film
which was
accepted by
producer-director-actor
Sasikumar,
clearly the
'man of the
moment' in
Kollywood.
Rajnikanth,
speaking at
the event,
revealed the
fact the
almost 85%
of the
shooting of
his upcoming
film 'Enthiran:
The Robot'
has been
completed.

"When
Shankar
invited me
to the
event, I
immediately
agreed to
come over.
The main
reason is
the
affection I
have for
him. He's a
good soul
and a
hard-working
individual
with a
razor-sharp
brain. He
always
appears to
be in quest
(for greater
things). The
film 'Eeram'
has many
inputs of
intelligence
and
hard-work
behind its
making. I'm
sure the
film would
be a success
story. Just
as a land
sans wetness
(eeram) is
of no use to
anyone, a
heart
without
eeram
(kindness)
would also
be a useless
one," said
Rajni amid
thunderous
applause.

Sasikumar,
while
speaking on
stage, said
"I was asked
why I had
come so
early to the
function. In
fact, I had
started
preparing
from
yesterday
night itself
for my visit
here this
morning. In
my school
and college
days, I had
stood for
hours
together in
queues
outside
cinema halls
to get
tickets to
watch Rajni
Sir's films.
Now, when I
was told
that Rajni
Sir would be
releasing
the CD, I
couldn't
control the
excitement
of sharing
the stage
with him.
It's no
wonder that
I was here
early to be
with the
superstar!"
The film
reportedly
has only a
couple of
songs.
Unlike it is
done usually
at
audio-launches,
the songs
were not
screened for
the audience
but were
only played
out on an
audio-player.
Why?
