Vishal
has been
having quite
a tough time
out there in
Kollywood
after his
much-hyped
home
production 'Thoranai'
flopped
miserably.
His next
film 'Theeratha
Vilaiyattu
Pillai' was
to be
produced by
Ramesh, who
produced
Vijay's 'Pokkiri'
a few years
ago. Ramesh,
however, had
seconds
thoughts
about going
ahead with
the film
after the 'Thoranai'
debacle and
had
reportedly
now backed
out of 'Theeratha…'
as the
producer.
Unfazed
by this,
Vishal
himself got
in touch
with a few
production
houses but
the response
was said to
be far from
encouraging.
Finally, he
has decided
to make 'Theeratha…'
again a
product from
his home
stable of
G.K. Film
Corporation.
Vikram
Krishna,
Vishal's
brother and
owner of
GKFC, is
said to have
asked Vishal
how the
public would
be accepting
him in a
'romantic'
role in 'Theeratha…'
which is in
sharp
contrast to
the 'action'
image they
have of him.
Unable to
bypass his
brother's
suggestions,
Vishal has
asked the
story-writer
to make the
relevant
changes in
the script
so as to
suit his
'image'.
Well, we
surely have
not heard
the last
line in the
subject!
