Hollywood's
power couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie gave plush restaurants a miss
during their brief stay in London, and opted instead to eat out at a
local Indian restaurant.
The A-list duo who were here to attend the BAFTA award ceremony
visited the 'Noor Jahan' with some celebrity friends after checking into
their posh Park Lane hotel.
Pitt and Jolie were joined by erstwhile supermodel Claudia Schiffer,
her film director husband Matthew Vaughn and actor Robert Downey Junior
for the humble meal, reported Daily Mail.
"They booked a table for 12 at 7.30pm and were a bit late arriving,
but that was ok," said Shauyab Ahmed, the part-owner of the restaurant.
The entire party consisted of 12 people and the group sat around
three tables which they joined together to make space and had a meal
consisting of vegetable samosas, tandoori lamb chops and lamb passanda.
"Matthew comes in here all the time with Claudia,he loves the lamb
passanda, he always has that. Brad and Angelina seemed to love the food,
too. They ate it all,'said Ahmed
The owner told the newspaper that Pitt and Jolie tried to be as low
key as possible and requested the staff not to click any pictures.
