The leading Telugu actress Ileana, was about to be pairing up against Rajnikanth in the animation film 'Sultan: The Warrior' directed by Soundarya Rajnikanth. Somehow, the deal became unstuck and Ileana opted out of the dream opportunity to act with Rajni, albeit in an animation film.

Ileana has done a solitary Tamil movie 'Kedi' starring Ravikrishna and Tamanna. The film released more than two years ago and sank without a trace, sinking the effort of Ileana to gain a foothold in Tamil films. Later, Ileana moved to Telugu films and in no time, climbed the ladder up and is now one of the top actresses there.



Director Hari, who will be directing 'Singam' with Surya in the lead, has reportedly managed to get Ileana's consent to act in his film opposite Surya. Even before 'Singam', Ileana will be seen in a dubbed film 'Naan Oru Maadhiri', a Tamil version of the Telugu hit film starring Ileana and Ravi Teja.
