Arjun is said to be seriously considering producing and directing a Bollywood movie, with him in the lead. For this Bollywood opportunity, though, Arjun doesn't want to forfeit his existing market in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films. Arjun has been one of the very few heroes who have been able to carry on with the tag of 'action hero' even after more than two decades of surviving in the industry.
Arjun is now working with director Ilangannan again. It was Ilangannan who gave Arjun his hit film 'Otran' when he was badly in need of a hit film at that stage of his career. Ilangannan is presently directing Ravi Krishnan and Kamalini Mukherjee in 'Kadhalna Summa Illai'.
Arjun is planning his next home production in Tamil and has reportedly asked Suraaj to direct the film for him. Suraaj had a successful association with Arjun last year in 'Maruthamalai', which was a runaway hit thanks to the action sequences and Vadivelu's comedy track.
